Jemaah for magrhib & isya' at Assayafaah Mosque

Salam boys,
Since the end of beloved Ramadhan, I've been keeping to my salat the best I can. Whether at work on the weekends at home. I must admit that praying the 5 obligatory prayers has been my go to activity when I'm stressed at work. Thankfully, I have found no excuse to miss them at work though I do it secretly. So far, I have prayed to Allah to give me strength to be a better Muslim. I constantly face the inner demons in me to fall back to my erroneous ways. But Insya'allah with consistent prayers and being around like-minded Muslims, my ship will sail in the straight path. Gotta keep my eye on the prize as advised by Uncle Redha.
1 🌟: glad that preparations for tomorrows N3 COP ICT symposium are in order, what's left is to simply carry them out and remember to email out the feedback gForm.
1🎁: that my p6 pupils remain calm and focused as they count down to the PSLE.

Shanghai Bus Terminal

I'm having breakfast with my family and am watching this excellent documentary on discovery channel - Shanghai Bus Terminal. At first i was overwhelmed by the sheer no. of folks and families heading back home, some as far as a 24hr bus ride, to celebrate the lunar new year. Most of them are migrant workers whom have worked their butts off for the whole year to save up and spend quality time with beloved family members. Sadly, not all of these folks are literate, most don't even know how to buy a ticket in the first place. These migrant workers or the 'new' Shanghainese, total about 4 million in strength - that's about the whole population of Singapore! I see both the good and bad side of human characters in the show. BAD: A man was robbed on the way to the terminal. Scalpers taking advantage of the situation & selling tickets at 10 times their original prices. Migrant workers who were not paid by their employer only bus fare to go home! GOOD: A stranger helping
